It’s available for both the Mac and the iPad. I decided to see if I could find a cheap app that was comparable and what I found was iDraw.
I have tried to use the drawing capabilities in Pages, but it just pales in comparison to what I am used to with Illustrator. Enough years have passed that I don’t even have the current software for Adobe Illustrator. iDraw is available for a fraction of the price of Adobe, at just $24.99, and does nearly as much, but much more than Pages.Įven though I am no longer a graphic designer, I still have friends who occasionally ask me to do a logo for them.
At just under $600, it’s definitely out of the question for casual designers. The only downside to it is that it comes with a huge price tag. I worked in the graphic design/printing business for twenty years, and the software that could do it all was Adobe Illustrator. Casual digital artists now have a cheaper app than Adobe Illustrator.
